Edinburgh Marathon
The Edinburgh Marathon standard entry period is set to end on Sunday 8th January at midnight as entries for the popular event look set to sell out for the 7th year in a row. The marathon takes place on Sunday 28th May 2017 and attracts thousands of runners from the UK and beyond to take part in one of the flattest and fastest marathons the UK has to offer.

Organisers are encouraging potential runners to sign up before the standard entries period ends at midnight on Sunday 8th January. After this time, you can still enter the marathon with a charity place, or choose to participate in the increasingly popular Edinburgh Half Marathon instead.

The Edinburgh Marathon Festival takes place on Saturday 27th and Sunday 28th May 2017. There’s 9 race distances to choose from over the 2 days, with something for all ages and abilities. Find out more and enter online
