Music in Hospitals & Care is a charity that improves the health and wellbeing of children and adults through the healing power of live music.
Every year, our professional musicians share live music with over 100,000 people from across the UK, who may not otherwise get to experience it. This includes those living with dementia, who have mental health problems, or who are seriously ill.
Our specially-created live music experiences unlock all kinds of emotions – from joy to loss, pleasure to nostalgia. They improve people’s mental, physical and emotional health. And they help people feel more connected to each other.
You can register from as little as £5 (with a commitment to raise a minimum sponsorship) depending on the distance! In return we will provide you with:
- A Music in Hospitals & Care running top or vest so you stand out on your run and look great!
- Iron on letters so that you can add your name to the top and encourage spectators to cheer you on!
- Advice, ideas and materials to get the money rolling in, and if you ever need us we’re only a phone call away.
