The Archie Foundation’s aim from inception to present day has always been to “make the difference”. To articulate this more fully, our mission is to “transform experiences and outcomes in healthcare and bereavement for local children and their families”.

Our vision is that all children in the regions we support will have equal access to world-class healthcare and bereavement support, delivered in a child-appropriate environment and manner and irrespective of any socio-economic barriers faced.

We work across North Scotland, covering Grampian, Orkney, Shetland, Highlands, Islands and Tayside, and deepen our reach within these regions to include community hospitals and healthcare centres.
