2022 Emerald Spectator (Marathon 3 journey ticket with P&R shuttle)
This is a three journey ticket for MARATHON & TEAM RELAY SPECTATORS who want to support the runners at every stage of their run. With this ticket spectators can board an Event Bus at one of the Park & Ride facilities detailed below to be transported to the start. This ticket then allows transport to the finish, before returning back to the Park & Ride.
Please note that due to ongoing construction works on the A1, we anticipate that routes will be extremely busy. If you plan to use any of the Park & Ride locations, tickets MUST be purchased in advance, and you will need to be ready to board the bus 1.5 - 2 hours prior to the start time of your race.
Pick up locations: Newcraighall Park & Ride, Sheriffhall Park & Ride, Straiton Park & Ride
Destination 1: Buccleuch Place, Edinburgh (This is a 15-minute walk from the Start area)
Journey time: 45mins to 60mins
Bus departure time: 08:00 until 08:30.
Pick up location: Buccleuch Place, Edinburgh (15 minute walk from the Start area)
Destination 2: Wallyford Park & Ride (Finish)
Journey time: 40mins to 50mins
Bus departure time: A shuttle service will operate between 10:00 and 12:00
Pick up location: Wallyford Park & Ride (Finish)
Final Destinations: Newcraighall Park & Ride -> Sheriffhall Park & Ride -> Straiton Park & Ride
Journey time: 45mins to 60mins
Bus departure time: A shuttle service will operate between 13:00 and 17:15. It is a 25 minute walk from the finish to the bus pick up point at Wallyford Park & Ride.
The times stated on this ticket are a guide and Event Buses may run up to 20-30 minutes later than the times advertised. Please check the website for any event updates throughout the weekend. Event Bus tickets will be available for you to download from your My Running account, 2 weeks prior to event day. Please note: Event Bus tickets are non-refundable and non-transferable.
